Today here in the central part of New Jersey where I live it is cold & rainy. So just as I got ready to leave my house at 8:30am- umbrella, purse and paperwork in tow, I received a call from my client telling me he couldn't make our scheduled 9am appointment.
Nevertheless, I headed out to my vehicle anyway, prepared to brave the nasty weather.
As I was warming it up and getting the heat going, I get a call from my 2nd appointment for the day, a very nice couple from Long Island, NY who I've been showing homes to in the South Brunswick, Manalapan and Millstone areas.
The wife indicated that she too was running behind due to the weather and wanted to know if we could reschedule.Okay, no big deal. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled about going in & out of a bunch of houses today anyway. So I rescheduled both appointments and headed back to mi casa.
Now I'm sitting here like, "Okay cool...I've got a free day to myself...FINALLY...so what do I do next?"
Clearly I've putting off blogging consistently for awhile, but as you can see from my blogs below, lately I've been "blogging on steriods"........lolololololololololol!!!!
So I went back to my computer and figured I would send emails to a few clients and maybe write another blog (if I had anything worthwhile to say). Now I'm racking my brain trying to think of what I want to blog about. Low and behold, an agent who has been secretly paying close attention to my "stealth blogging" as of late, emailed me a note that she may have a referral she'd like to give me.
If this works out, it will be my second successful AR referral. My first was from AR member Debbie Barrera of Presidio Group in Austin, Texas. A couple of months ago I closed on the referral she sent me. Thanks again Debbie!
So if you're sitting home in a cold & rainy town somewhere across this country right now, make great use of your time. Starting today, commit to writing at least one new blog and comment on ten blog posts.
